True spiritual strength is not only demonstrated through power, but also through clarity—the ability to recognise truth, resist deception, and stand firmly in the authority Christ has given His Church.
This is a season in which believers must remain both spiritually alert and firmly anchored in Christ. We are not called to be driven by fear, confusion, or intimidation, but to stand confidently in the victory Christ has already secured.
Discernment enables the believer to distinguish truth from error, recognise what is contrary to God's Word, and respond to spiritual challenges with wisdom, faith, and confidence.
1. Pray for believers to walk in spiritual authority.
Pray that believers will understand and exercise the authority Christ has given them over sin, fear, temptation, and every form of spiritual oppression.
Scripture: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy...” — Luke 10:19
2. Pray for deep spiritual discernment.
Ask the Lord to strengthen the Church with discernment to recognise deception, false teachings, misleading doctrines, and spiritual confusion. Pray that believers will remain firmly grounded in Scripture.
Scripture: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God...” — 1 John 4:1
3. Pray for victory in personal spiritual battles.
Pray for believers facing hidden struggles, temptations, fears, and internal battles that weaken their spiritual lives. Ask God to strengthen them and establish them in freedom and victory.
Scripture: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” — 2 Corinthians 10:4
4. Pray for renewed boldness in the Church.
Pray that the Church will not retreat because of opposition, persecution, or difficult circumstances, but will advance with courage and confidence in Christ.
Scripture: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” — Ephesians 6:10
5. Pray for spiritual alertness and sensitivity.
Pray that believers will remain attentive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and develop greater sensitivity to God's direction in their decisions, relationships, ministries, and daily lives.
Scripture: “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” — Colossians 3:2
The Lord says: “I am restoring authority to My Church. What has been blurred will become clear, and what has been weakened will rise again in strength.”
We declare that the Church will walk in discernment, wisdom, courage, and spiritual authority. Confusion will give way to clarity, fear to faith, and weakness to strength.
The people of God will stand firm in Christ, resist deception, advance in truth, and walk boldly in the victory He has given.
